Heroin Risks

Heroin addiction is increasing day by day in each and every corner of the world and there are many risks of taking it and some of them are listed below:-

  1. When some contaminants are mixed in heroin then there are chances of poisoning.
  2. The persons who use heroin should not use non-sterile syringes and needles because the use of such kind of equipment may lead to diseases such as hepatitis and HIV/AIDS and the bacteria and fungus can cause infection in the heart valves. If anybody by mistake has used non-sterile needles than must be send to the Heroin rehab center for proper medical treatment so that the person returns to his or her normal state as soon as possible.
  3. Addiction is increasing at a faster rate which in turn is developing tolerance but they don’t know that the regular use of such drugs can lead to physical dependence and the problems regarding the proper functioning of the kidney.
  4. While buying such kinds of drugs there is no assurance that the heroin is from the same batch so here the user doesn’t know what they are taking is pure or not pure.
  5. Drugs such as heroin and alcohol not be mixed together because if these two drugs are taken at the same time can kill the person.
  6. Withdrawing heroin is very hard because if the person stops taking drugs but mentally it will take him or her few years to get free from it. If heroin is injected then there are chances of physical damage.
